A personal opinion- by Paddy Anyatonwu

Nnamdi Kanu

Where was Ohaneze when APGA was being destroyed by external forces outside Igboland? What did they do have bloc just as other ethnic groups?

APGA was founded in 2003 or so, under the leadership of Chief Chekwas Okorie and guidance of Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu. The vision was to found an all-embracing Igbo party that would go beyond Igbo land and accommodate people from all parts of the country.

APGA started making in-roads with election of Peter Obi and subsequent Rochas Okorocha.
When Abuja saw that Ndigbo were getting it right, they bought some souls within the rank and file of APGA, sprinkled crisis and hatred amongst member. The crisis has almost consumed the party.

It is no longer news that Peter Obi and Rochas have already jumped ship long time ago while Chewas Okorie was literally scorned. In a swift reaction, Chekwas Okorie formed UPP to nurse his wounds inflicted on him.

However, these external dudes that destroyed APGA went to their regions and rebuilt AD, CPC and ACN while Ndigbo are the only region without a platform.

Today, APGA literally has just a Chairman. How can one person be the Chairman, the spokesperson, the publicity Secretary, everything?
The Board of Trustees is supposed to be made up of 24 m embers, but right now it has only one member.

I am not a member of IPOB but I am Biafran. I have a stake in what happens in my region. Anybody disparaging these IPOB members because of their position must have left his/her history books in the library.

I believe in negotiation, compromise and diplomacy.
The big question is, what do IPOB want? Why are they calling their members to boycott Anambra Guber election come November ?

Oh sure, there is always a middle lane. Has it been explored?
Patrick Anyatonwu, this day submit to us that highhandedness, arm-twisting, tongue-lashing will never work. So much has gone under the bridge that assurances must be secured. Once beat, twice shy.

I can tell you for free, a large percentage of IPOB members are reasonable people. They listen. But, they need to know where you are coming from. They have trusted before and messed up. Litany of promises has made to them before but gate were locked immediately after winning elections.
They are bitter. They should be assuaged. I don’t need to say it here that they have the population. We need them.

Anybody who has the contact of Dr. John Nwodo, the President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo should advise him to ‘Nichodemusly’ summon Nnamdi Kanu/IPOB for a crucial meeting.
Is it not the elders that still said that where a child crying and pointing at a particular, it is either the father or the mother is there.

This is not the time of romancing toughness. The differences must be settled amicably.
I once more submit to all of us the united will only stand.
Long live Biafra!
Long live Ohaneze!
Long live IPOB!
