The Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has finished up arrangements to prepare some of its gear to Bauchi and Gombe states in reckoning of oil investigation in the Benue Trough.

Its gathering Managing Director, Dr Maikanti Baru, unveiled this on Thursday when he talked with columnists at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport, Bauchi.

He said his main goal to the two states was to sharpen the general population to the foreseen investigation of oil in the range.

"We are here to motion to the great individuals of Bauchi and Gombe conditions of our aim and endeavors to prepare our hardware back to Gongola Basin.

"We will probably begin 3D seismic securing which covers however much as could be expected the bowl as far as investigating hydrocarbon in the North East.

He encouraged the general population inside the two states not to freeze over the matter

Baru said that before prospects directed in the two states were believable, particularly in one of the wells in Yankari Games Reserves.
